I grew up in Illinois, lived in Chicago after graduating with my B.A. in Political Science and Spanish and while completing my Masters in Acupuncture, and currently find myself at home in the Carolinas. I hold a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine from the Pacific College of Health and Science.
My background is varied and includes community organizing and non-profit, human rights and environment, education/youth development, early childhood education, massage & bodywork and more. I am enjoying delving deeper into plant and ecological knowledge now that I am in one of the most biodiverse regions in the US. I love being outside connecting with nature and being active, being creative, engaging with all sorts of media, creating community and I love to travel.
I have long been on a spiritual journey of investigation and have navigated a lot of transformation and opportunities for healing. I am excited to offer my presence to others through my offerings, exploring together what is possible.
I believe it is of vital importance to investigate life through a multidimensional and phenomenological (experience-based) perspective with the intention of healing and empowerment of the whole being within a greater interpersonal, familial, ecological, historical and general collective context. I know that each person's spiritual healing and empowerment influences the collective for the better.
